This program includes 20 hours of dual instruction in a Cessna 172, equipped to meet the criteria to be a Technically Advanced Aircraft. The flight training portion of this program focuses solely on the required commercial maneuvers and checkride preparation.
Due to the extensive experience requirements to complete the commercial rating, we highly recommend additional utilization of the Redbird AATD, and other potential time building options. Joining a flying club for time building, or coordinating with other Northwoods operations and pilots can greatly decrease costs. Just utilizing Northwoods aircraft rental offerings, we recommend budgeting $25,000 for final program completion.
